Hey all, So I've been fighting with my various hacks trying to get this to work. The purpose being that in the event of a power failure or being nowhere near WiFi I can still surf the net via my cell phone (Samsung Black Jack) assuming I have coverage. I've successfully done this on my desktop using a Dlink USB module running Tiger with no problems but as of the upgrade to Leo everything went to pot. My latest attempt was on my Wind running 10.5.7 and network preferences informs me that the PAN cable is not attached. Anyone have any ideas? It's just a little extra I'd like to get working and it will make the wind that much more functional. Thanks for the help in advance!
Cheers, Nik

Hi Nik, Haven't really ever played with this but just had a quick go and got Bluetooth DUN & Bluetooth PAN popped up in Network prefs: I can't connect at the moment though as my SonyEricsson 890i is pants and rarely gets a signal at my house (my last Nokia was fine)! Is this similar to what you got. You could try from the start again I guess. Install from Bluetooth Preference panel. Good Luck. EDIT: Seems to be working now:

Aqua, Thanks so much for taking time to give this a try I'll give it a go as soon as I get 10.5.8 loaded on the wind. As always I am in your debt. Thanks again, Nik
