OK, I have converted the following: Dell Mini 9. The most compatible from the point of view that it is completely compatible. Even internal 3G works, but it has SSD HDD. I fitted mine with a 64 gig one. This also has the best clearest screen. Also working: Built in webcam Onboard Lan External VGA Built in SD slot. Sleep with 10.5.6 Good 4+ hour battery life Mic + Sound Wireless 54G Ralink (though I replaced the 54g Mini PCIe card with a dell wireless n one that is seen as Airport) Auto switching to headphone socket when headphones are plugged in! Huge following at "My Dell Mini" Also nice is Samsung NC10. Stylish nice screen (one of the better ones - not quite as crisp as the Dell) Working: Built in Webcam Built in SD slot Good 4+ hour battery life 160 gig HDD Wireless 54G Ralink (though I replaced the 54g Mini PCIe card with a dell wireless n one that is seen as Airport) Not Working: Mic Socket & Onboard Mic Some have built in 3G but I don't think it has been got working. Lan still has not been got working! There is a script around to get the headphone socket going but it is a bit pants and does not seem to work all the time! Advent 4211 - you need the model that finishes with B. Don't get the one that finishes with C otherwise the built in webcam does not work, even though the hard disk is 120 gigs instead of 80 gigs. (It's written on the underside). This is very similar to the MSI Wind. Look out for that web cam though. Working: Onboard Lan Webcam works on some models 2.5-3 hour battery life Built in SD slot Sound Not Working: Wireless 54G Atheros (though I replaced the 54g Mini PCIe card with a dell wireless n one that is seen as Airport) There is a script around to get the headphone socket going but it is a bit pants and does not seem to work all the time! Mic Input & Onboard Mic. As you can see this is not an exhaustive list, as there are a number of netbooks such as Asus Eee PC, but you are back with SSD HD again. Was there a good reason to avoid the SSD HD other than availability and price? PS, I have not tried this, but if you are not bothered about 3 G then you could fit 2x Runcore mini PCIe 64 gig SSD's in the Dell Mini 9 and Raid Stripe them - that would be really cool!!!!!! Like the look of this by the way - Sony's new up and coming netbook!

Thanks for the List Aqua My main goal is to use this around the House, and at my wife's parents when I'm forced to have dinner. Hence the reason for needing wireless, about SSD, Have they come that fast now there = to a sata drive? Most I need would be wireless & video OOTB, when you say you replaced them with a Dell WIFI, what Model? is it something I can pickup at best-buy? However, If the Dell mini 9 is truly that great of a buy, then I might think about it then. Plus if I can remove the 3G would sell me own it for adding another 60 SSD. The other thing is I wanted to pick one up by friday, which is why I posted the bestbuy link, do they have Replacement WIFI at the stores? or will that be a EBAY thing? and last but not least, can you link the Adapter you used? though, I might go with the mMSI Wind Q2, but would still need the wireless adapter correct?

Don't know yet how OSX'able the Sony is. It has an extremely wide screen - not sure of the graphics chip? Here is a link to the 64 gig SSD you will want, but I here that Dell is now offering a 64 gig on it's website.

The Sony has a Mobile IntelĀ® Graphics Media Accelerator 500, I'm not sure if that would work.

Now I know why I want to stay away from SDD, I'm only looking to spent around $400 to $500 at most for the Complete Setup.

Here is a 54G if you are not bothered by n. Media 500 graphics are not compatible with OSX. I have noticed that the mini 9 on Dells website now has this graphics chip. If you did go down this route, make sure you get one with GMA 950 like mine.

Personally, I would go for the wind, it feels much better made than the Asus. I have used the Asus and really did not like it. Feels and looks cheap. The wind feels much better quality. You may well have the webcam won't work problem though as MSI have used 2 different webcams in that model.
On the Acer, the side buttons on the mouse are not that good - only a small point.

Okay, thanks Aqua. I'll Go with the MSI, and Hope that I can install a Different Adapter into it. Not worried about the Webcam to much, I've had one the Last 5 year, and I've never used it. I'll post back once I get it

No probs changing the wireless in the MSI, go with a wireless n of the type I linked you to and you won't go wrong.
