All fixed.... (with a hatchet) Oh how i hate D-Link.... Reason for my troubleshooting, i was getting dropped packets left right and center browsing the net, listening to iTunes, VLC.... Reset, rebooted router, and nothing helped. So, i am using my backup non-wireless Linksys router until i buy something better than a pathetic DI-624 rev D in sheep's clothing.

I pity the router! (in the voice of Mr T). I dare you to try and RMA it ;D If you're in the market for a new router, I highly recommend the Buffalo WHR-HP-G54: www.broadbandbuyer.co.uk/Shop/ShopDetail.asp?ProductID=2324Can be flashed with the alternative firmware from DD-WRT - very powerful, you can tweak everything, use as a bridge, AP, router only, whatever. I have four of them now all running DD-WRT rather than the stock firmware, providing a cheap WDS mesh around the house for wireless plus connecting wired devices like XMBC. www.dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv3/

Looks like a nice router. I had a Linksys with DD-WRT and i will admit, before it fried, it worked like a charm. What i need now is a gigabit router with wifi (preferably N) and a USB downport for printer sharing. This one doesn't have what i need.

Plus, the one above, I reckon you could use it to launch the Space Shuttle!
