Hi all, now here's a random question I was wondering if anyone could help me with. I'm looking for a replacement backplate for a graphics card. I made a bit of a mess of one cutting a section off so I could install an aftermarket cooler - the card had a "folded over" section of backplate halfway down its length that held a barcode sticker. Because it hung over the card itself, I couldn't get the cooler to sit right. Hopefully you can see the barcode foldover bit in the above image. I hacked the section of metal off using a hacksaw and some clips. As a result, the whole backplate is a bit of a dogs dinner now. The question is - does anyone know if there is an online source for replacement backplates? I'm watching a couple of faulty cards on ebay - the intention being to reuse the plate off one of these. The easier route would, though, be to just get the plate. Any thoughts? There must be whole cities in China devoted to nothing else but making these things..

Nano,
I will have a look when I get home to see if I have a dual DVI spare. If I have then it will only cost you the postage!

Emailed the details. Thanks Aqua - let me know what I owe you.
Funny thing is, I've put the 7600GT back in my Hack instead of the 7900GT for the moment and I'm actually getting better performance (at least in terms of Openmark and Xbench scores). I remember reading something a while ago about OS X just having better drivers for the 7600GT.
