hey guys. to save some money i might make my own drive caddies for the hdds i'm putting in a mac pro case. is there any sketchup drawings or something that i can use as a template to bend some aluminium to ore something?

It is possible with a double HDD tray from G4. I am busy with one for my Hack , will post pics later. I used also the top of a MDD HDD tray that I rived onto the G5 HDD tray . The part on which the tray glides inside the MDD has been rived onto the upper separation plate inside the G5. I took some pics and will post later.

tominated, I think your best bet would be to borrow one (or buy the first) and make a template from that. A good heavy card stock will be your best bet. That way you can tape it to your sheet aluminum and scribe the important bits directly on to the aluminum for cutting later. I've done lots of sheet metal so if you need help just holler.
