The store i bought my Mac Pro case from have been keeping an eye out for a PSU cover... they are sold as a part of the PSU, so thats £100 spent when i only need the cover (clever idea using the DVD cover... I had been wonder what that was... thought it was an old revision of the MacPro case.. Like the RAM cage) I've been told I'll be able to buy a faulty PSU for £40.. mad huh... £40 for something that doesnt work! :-)

Its looks like they have gone under! :-( there are no products on there store! which sucks! as they sold me everything! case, front and rear fan mountings Ram cage and CPU cover plate...
I'm in the market for a quick silver case... with the intention of putting my MDD outer casing (front and sides) on the quick silver.. create a AMD rig with no CD drive and maybe triple SLI... its all a pipe dream... but ive not seem a MDD Hack out there.. as the its not ATX mobo config..

okay guys i need something clearing up...
I've mentioned that my DS2R limits my OC to only 3ghz (3.6ghz stable on my DQ6) now I'd tried everything CPU wise to push my OC but nothing could get it to post....
could this be my issue,
I was just reading CustomPC.... reading a review of the GigaByte GA-X38-DS4 and they were pregnant doging about how gigabyte show the voltage OC on there BIOS... showing how much you want to push rather then the desired voltage..
they used the example of RAM.. stock DDR2 runs at 1.8v so if your RAM (LIKE MINE!!) is rated at 2.2v you have to apply a 0.4v overvolt...
My RAM is rated at 2.2v could my mobo be running it at only 1.8v??? could this be why when i plus it, it falls over?? my BIOS doesnt show me voltages (i dont think) how could i confirm this??
come on boys... 4ghz awaits!
:-)

Avoid using the yellow gigabyte SATA cable with silver metal clips for holding the cable in position, this is designed to hold from outside whilst the ordinary SATA (famale) cable has a notch inside for holding the cable in position. I noticed when I had used the yellow gigabyte SATA cable my front USB ports sometimes wouldn't work, but after using the normal Red SATA cable I do not have any problems with my usb

The overclocking has began!
I'd been running my E8200 at stock since my 3ghz OC on the DS2R became unstable... after some much needed advice then Nikonnut and others over at UTHEGURU I've been able to tackle my so far poor OC efforts compared to my DQ6
I'm now running at 3.2ghz stable...
My DDR2 was set at 1.8 and i had changed the timings to the 5 5 5 15... mistake... i needed to add more voltage to get my ram running at the required 2.2v. however when i push the OC in BIOS to 0.4v i cant boot so im running a 0.3v giving me 2.16v near enough for metal.. (for now.) I applied a NB voltage push of 0.1v so stability and slowly hit the 400FSB mark... runing at 1:1 ratio...
Its still way of the 1066mhz my RAM is capable of but a good start.
I'll report back and 3.4ghz.

3.4ghz! service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=6902183Only one prblem... im back to running at 2.66ghz :-) i was able to push to 3.66ghz but on post it reports 2.66ghz.... i go into the bios any everything is set as it should.. showing me my 3.66ghz.. reboot and its shows 2.66ghz... in windows 2.66... cpu-z 2.66ghz... so i scale back to 3.44ghz... no joy still posts at stock.... have i broken my motherboard? :-)

not broken... just needed to clear the CMOS! but still gay! cant push passed 3.44ghz... also when i set my DDR2 voltage to +0.4v it wont post....
