I'm not asking for anyone to send me something, just asking for info. What good convertor program is out there for mac for going from avi to domething that quicktime, imovie, idvd and such will see? Right now quicktime loads the avi but all i get is sound and a black video. I have all the codecs installed that are needed, but what can i use that will make it so i can see the movie, work with it, and eventually burn it off to dvd? Can toast 7 do a simple conversion or no?

well, it works but there is a slight problem. Demo mode only gives you 2 min of video. At least quicktime see's the video, and now i am off to see if the other programs see it too.

Found version 1.0.1 of this program, and fully registered. Works like a charm and have converted some videos to mp4 format. DVD studio pro 4 is happy now and so is quicktime.
