Hi friends, I presume some of you are using or had used Samsung hardrives. I am about to purchase 4 500 GB SATA drives for my MacPro and Samsung seems to have the best deal. Right now , my Mac has 250 Western Digital and Hitachi Desktar and I'm planning replace both. I just want to ask if Samsung drives are reliable. Thank you

Kenji, While as of the moment my Hack has Hitachi Deskstars in it I put a Samsung 500 GB Spinpoint in my cousins P.C. and there have been no problems at all. If Samsung quality runs true (I have a 22" Syncmaster, a SGH-607i Blackjack, there are a few Samsung T.V.'s in the house, and the afore mentioned HDD) I would not worry in the least! Best of luck.
Kind Regards, Nik

Hi Kenji,
These really are great drives. I got one recently, they are absolutely silent and fast, with 16meg cache too!
