I bought two dead Sawtooths in auction. According to the seller. both were dead so I still took the gamble and got both for $40. One has no CPU but luckily I have a spare 350 MHz and heatsink. Initially, both machines wouldn't boot up. I thought, hmmm, PSU?, power button? dead logicboard? ahhhha! battery and CUDA switch! >:(I took off the battery and pressed the CUDA switch once. Bingo! Both Sawtooths are now working! ;D Now what would I do? Sell it? ;D Use it? ::)MOD IT?

Wow, Sounds like a bit of a deal you got there!! 20$ each, I think you could safely say that must be bargain of the year!

Now what would I do? Sell it? ;D Use it? ::)MOD IT? Well I would feel incredibly smug for a start! lol Congrats on an great purchase Kenji. Fitting one of these would make a very quick and usable system. However selling them on 'as is' is probably the most sensible and profitable course of action.

Right ritalin. I just finished cleaning Sawtooth No.1 and it transformed from a junkyard Mac into a Apple Store Mac ;D. Sawtooth No.2 will get his bath later tonight. I think I will sell both Sawtooths and look again for bargain G4's ;D
