Hi joe, Welcome to aquamac forums. You should only have to tape pins 3 & 11 to run the card in 4x mode. OWC sell 9600 Pros for a good price & these work nicely with MDD's but there are some problems with Quicksilvers and Digital Audios. What G4 are you trying to run this in? eshop.macsales.com/item/ATI%20Technologies/630ATI96MDD/If you need to power the ADC slot you are going to have to get clever with the soldering iron as the power connector does not line up with the MDD board. There used to be an article showing how this is done but it seems to have disappeared from Hardmac. You can also use a 9600 XT from an AGP G5 which has 256 megs of ram but you will still need to tape pins 3 & 11. These come up on ebay from time to time, but if you want ADC to work you will need to cut the connector plug off an old rage 128 or something similar & solder wires from the existing plug to that.
