I was thinking of getting my hands on a dual 2GHz G5 PCI-e, but i was wondering, which ones are actually water cooled and which ones are not? On the internet, it says the 4 core 2.5's are but that's all i can find. So, if you guys/gals can help me with some of this info, it would be appreciated. Thanks.

I am pretty sure that the Dual 2.5's & Dual 2.7's were the watercooled ones. Apple seems like they are having some issues. If I ever got one of these, I would certainly be checking very carefully as many seem to leak. However, watercooling, if done right should be trouble free.

Well, after doing a little more research, i found out that the Dual 2.3GHz (early 2005) were also water cooled. (models: J55260013SYCB and J5526002CSYCB) These were the ones i found.

interesting facts as mine is Water cooled PPC G5 dp 2.5 and sadly enough, the power supply went last month with the CPUs. I was able to pick up a lot of G5 for parts and my big project is to flush the cooling system and fill it up with a fresh coolant. None of my G5 has leaked yet, but i just want to be on the safe side and inspect the machine before it actually goes. Thanks to all of you on this forum, i have now a better idea on how to fill it and bleed the air out. i can show you later the Before and after once all this is done. But i still can't find the fitting that could fit to actually fill up the rad by the "dust cap" area if any of you has a picture or part number, it would be handy. Thanks a million Angel

I used this Quick Connect Coupling Set and glued one of the piece of metal directly onto the rad. To fill up the rad I just need to connect the second piece attached to a plastic tube.
