Would you like to have 54g on your 11g equipped G4. Well you can now without losing a PCI Slot. D link has hidden away Drivers for the DWL G122 Wireless USB adapter on its website so that they are difficult to find. But after some ferreting around I have uncovered them. Because I had a full compliment of PCI Slots, using a card would have meant losing some functionality from my computer. The really good news is the speed of this adapter seems to blow Apples Airport Extreme off the map (I've tried the two side by side & believe me you are going to like this!). THERE IS 1 IMPORTANT CAVEAT AND THAT IS: The adapter must have B1 on the reverse side (you can see it just before the letters F/W below). This means it is the later model & has the right chip to work with the driver! Because I love a good mod I just had to hide away the dongle & also the bluetooth dongle so that when I move the computer from place to place they dont get lost or bashed! See Below A natty little strength meter pops into your top menu panel showing you signal strength with a little blue bar & 83%. Anyone had any experience with the DWL-G132 (the AirPLUS eXtremeG) that's good to 108 Mbps? Same price, deouble the speed. Just curious.
Cheers, Chris

I had a look on D-Links website and the DWL-132 has no OSX drivers, do you know what chip this uses? I haven't been able to find out yet.

I did some digging and came up nil on the drivers like you. Also, no one has anything good to say about the 132 model. Evderything from it over heats to it crashes your computer. I think I'll just go get a DWL-G122 and be happy till the 802.11n format comes out. Thanks for the help.
Cheers, Chris
P.S. You guys get all the good drivers. d-link USA doesn't even list a Mac driver!

I updated the link to the driver above for the DWL-122 USB dongle as the previous one had expired.
