2 days ago got a new Mac! Found it on kijiji for $140, apparently it was suffering from kernel panics on boot. Diagnosed that it needed a new hard drive and better ram.
So after getting new parts, i now am a proud owner of a MacBook Pro Late 2007 model.
Specs are... 15", 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo, 4 GB DDR2-667, 640 GB HD, Nvidia 8600M GT 256

Nice!!! I never can find an easy fix deal on ebay or what not. I am always looking for something that might be worth the purchase to fix and either use myself of resell it lol

You people are going to hate me.
The other day i have been tracking an iMac for 2 months that a lady was giving away. She said that her daughter was using it and it started acting all wonky. Well, after doing a cooling mod on it and fixing a broken SATA port, it's now installing 10.7.
Specs of the iMac is this... iMac5,1 17" 2GHz Core 2 3 GB ram (upgraded from 1.5 GB) 160 GB HD Superdrive Bluetooth Wifi N ATI x1600 128 MB (hopefully no BGA heat errors) Mac OS 10.7
