Hey guys,
I just got done installing Snow Leopard after I had countless hours of stress trying to get my ZOTAC GTS 250 video card working with Leopard, and now I have questions.
1. Can I safely update to 10.6.8?
2. Will updating to 10.6.6 or 10.6.8 allow HDMI out for my video card? Cause currently it only works via DVI.
Thanks!

What method are you using to get your video card working? My advice would be to clone your hard disk with Carbon Copy Cloner to a USB hard disk and then make this bootable with Chameleon. You can then try 10.6.8 on the USB hard disk and check it works OK. This is the method I use and it has saved my skin many times!!!

I used *your* method with the GFX strings. Actually I'm using my 8800GTS now because when I boot in past the silver screen, the screen turns black and is shifted like 60% to the left. And I will definitely try to do that. EDIT:Cloned, installed 10.6.8 on cloned drive. Upon first boot I got a KP but it was because of SleepEnabler.kext. Removed it, rebooted (and used pmVersion=0) and it worked fine, so now I'm installing on primary drive! EDIT 2:Successfully installed on main hard drive! Thought it was gonna be a really long and painful process but that was so easy. Thank God. Anyway, I can now boot into my GTS 250, but still no HDMI output. Eh... I bought a DVI to HDMI adapter so it shouldn't be too much of a problem... hopefully.
