In case no one's seen this before, I'd like to point attention to this page in Japanese outlining someone's own MDD aircooling mod project. It's particularly useful for people interested in doing fan replacements (like me) since that person has some very comprehensive tables comparing the stock fans to potential replacements and replacements that he's presumably used. The Google Translate version of one of his pages is somewhat garbled, but he lists full specs for the Optical Drive fan, the 120 mm fan, and the PSU fans. This person seems to have gone to rather extraordinary lengths for cooling - also in the page above, he seems to have mounted his power supply (and his optical drives!?) externally, and in another page he details how he externally mounted two 120 mm fans on the outside of his case to assist in cooling...

Well, that is pretty far out! The fan mod for the power supply is particularly interesting, where he uses the cardboard tunnel to enable 1 large fan for cooling. That has given me some ideas! Thanks very much for finding the link!
