Gainward Bliss 7800GS ROM

I've got my hands on a Gainward GF 7800GS 512mb, same card used here aquamac.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=talk&action=print&thread=140 but can't find the ROM to flash the card...does anyone have this or know where to d/l it?

I do believe this might be the rom. There are 3 of them, but this one seems to be the faster of the 3
7800 GS AGP (G70) overclocked version

The card apparently needs a 128k ROM so this ROM won't work

I've emailed and PM'ed Aquamac if he/she still has this ROM but no reply :-(

He might still have the rom, just be patient. He works alot, but he does read his PM's

Right here are a selection of Gainward roms that I made:

3 are for 64 kb rom chips and

3 are for 128kb rom chips.

They will display as shown in the file they are in. Although the Gainward is a 512 mb card, it will only function as a 256 mb card in OS X. These roms will ONLY work with the Gainward card and no other 7800 GS 256 mb card. If anyone tries that, they will kill their card - you have been warned.

The card you flash must be a 7800 GS 512 AGP and not the 7800 GS+ AGP as that is actually a 7900 GT chip and flashing that card with these roms will kill it.

The 128 kb roms work slightly faster than the 64 kb ones.

As red dragon says - for G4 use, pins 3 & 11 need to have tape put over them but that is not needed in a G5.

These are AGP only!!

The card has the "old" cooler...same as the Gainward GF 6800GS 512mb so I don't think it's the "+" version
