Hello Aquamac,
I thought that it was easy to change my graphic cards, but...
I had your GTX 480 GFX strings for 3 x GTX 480 wich worked like a charm with my 3 GTX 285, so I thought that I had just to switch cards and voilà !
GTX 580 is also a new fermi chip after all... Not working...
I tried to delete GFX strings and replace by GraphicsEnabler, I let only one card, It doesn't works at all ( Error at boot, I have to shut down my computer )...
After that, I updated with the combo 10.6.5 and with tonymac's nvidia update.
My GTX 285 2048 are working well now ( no -2048 MB issue any more, for thoses that could interest ) but when I plug GTX 580, it boots now ( error message : "you have to shut down your computer, bla bla bla" is gone ) until it display a beautyfull black screen with grey artifacts !!
What can I do now ??
