I saw hackjoe removing his top tray from the casing to fit in a full size ATX mobo. My build is a Dual LGA1366 model so the smallest i can get is full ATX. Please Help ME. Also please send me the wiring diagrams for the front panel and please tell me which Internal firewire PCI x1 or x8 card works. My mobo is an Asus Z8NA-D6 or D6C.

adimonty,
I just recently stripped my Mac Pro (Early 2008) case. Off the top of my head, here's how you remove the tray: 1. Unlock the case and remove all the hdd sleds. 2. Remove the Dvd cage. 3. Unscrew the 2 #1 screws that hold the panel behind the dvd drive cage. 4. Disconnect the psu wires 5. Unscrew the 4 2.5mm hex bolts under the power supply. 6. Push the psu forward and pull it out of the case. 7. Pull the psu fan off its rubber mounts. 8. Remove case lock mechanism. 9. Then unscrew the 2 #1 screws on the front of the tray and the 2 in the back. Also unscrew the 3 phillips screws under where the fan was. 10. Finally remove the T8 bolts along the back of the case. The shelf should just slide out from there. If it doesn't something is wrong.
As for the wiring diagrams, they are scattered around this forum so just look around.
Best of luck
