still waiting on root device

I just downloaded and burnt snow leopard to a disk and when I boot the dvd I get still waiting to root device. Here is where I downloaded it from

I have a gateway 7811FX
Here is the specs
Intel core duo cpu p8400 @2.26GHz 2.27 GHz
4GB ram
320GB western digital sata HDD
Nivida ge force 9800m gtx

I have googled this and tried some of the stuff with no luck any help would be great.

Fixed this by installing a different way. Mods feel free to remove this post
