Hello! I've recently made a thread that I was unable to boot without removing NVDAResman, and this problem is the same as that, just on another PC, and I will post some more info on what I'm installing in this thread so that someone will hopefully find what I'm doing wrong! I have googled and found that many other people are experiencing this exact issue; that they are unable to boot correctly without using safe mode (-x) or deleting NVDAResman.kext and/or GeForce.kext. This is not acceptable as by doing so removes any chance of activating QE/CI. I am using iDeneb v1.6 10.5.8 Lite Edition (for info, see ihackintosh.org/ideneb/ideneb-blog/ideneb-v16-1058-lite-editionWith these drivers selected (big picture): data.fuskbugg.se/skalman01/rkn_ideneb_config1.jpgMy setup: Gigabyte GA-965P-DS4 Motherboard (Chipset:ICH8) Gainward Geforce GTS250 1GB Intel Core2Duo E6600 (anything else?) I've also added GFX strings as per Aquamac's guide, they seem to work (but I still can't get into leopard without killing the kexts so no 3D, so nothing solved there) Whatever enablers I select does not matter, I have tried most that are out there, they don't make NVDAResman/GeForce.kext magically work I'm afraid :/ I also have this problem on my other PC which houses a 8800GTS, which was solved by just removing NVDAResman.kext, but ofcourse no Quartz Extreme. Why doesn't Resman like me? :/ If anyone knows what's up, please! help! Edit: I might also add that the problem lies not with the DevIDs as that has also been tried.

Update! So I somehow fixed it. Took me a good week to get it going but yay! This is what I did, don't know which part fixed it: Reinstalled iDeneb v1.6, chose 9.7.0 kernel anv, did not select any nvidia enablers and not even GT200, just NvidiaID. Booted up in safe mode (-x) also had to set cpus=1 or it wouldnt boot. Then I went and downloaded the drivers from netkas.org/?p=109 (the check-fix in one of the first comments) and netkas.org/?p=107Then I rebooted into -s, fixed the permissions for ATY_Init.kext (see last link), also deleted Extensions.mkext and rebooted. Viola. So if anyone can tell me how to screenshot proof, I will gladly do so. (Note that this "guide" will probably only work for people with GT2xx gfx cards, and most probably not all of you)
