This is for those have tried both OS's. I wanted to know which is the better of the two as both companies boast of major improvements in speed and performance.

Well, I haven't gotten Snow Leopard working yet but I've been playing with Windows 7 on and off on my Wind for a while. I must say that from the stand point of NOT being a resources hog it is very nice but I wouldn't say it holds a candle even to Leo.

I like both but snow is more stable. You could always just dual boot and have the best of both worlds

my opinion... Windows7 is flawless and much better than Vista was at the release. I was a Windows User until Vista came up and started to build up my 1st Hacky on a Gigabyte P965. It took me completly by suprise how stable and rock solid OSX86 came up. After 2 Weeks I didn't even boot up again in XP. After 1 and a half year I am doing all my work on my Hackys. No reinstallation, no bluescreens (sorry Kernel Panics) Now I have a Windows7 for gaming and everytime I boot up into Windows, I think how smooth OSX is and how frustrating it is to install, uninstall programs, drivers, etc. on a Windows PC...
