I will go for PC3200 CL2 Dual Channel soon, cause i want to have 2x1GB DIMMs in my 1.67 DP. I will post here if there be any difference vs 512MB PC 2700 CL3 DiMMs which i'm using now. If you put PC2100 to MDD with 167 MHz bus, it will not recognize it. You can use PC2700 or PC 3200 CL2. BTW, i'm having fun with my MDD too , even if i'm using MP in my everyday work. I like my old junk

I can pretty much afford to own any computer I could ever want but I choose to work on the MDD. I love it. I feel when Apple made the switch over to intel architecture the computers lost a bit of their personality. I don't really want a G5 because it seems the quality and reliabilty was not there in those machines.

Hi, i get 2x1GB Corsair XMS PC3200 Dual Channel CL2. No noticeable performance boost, at least in benchmarks (Xbench, Cinebench 2003). Only difference vs 512MB 2700 CL3 is little more space inside and maybe a little less heat.
