Hello there! Recently i got QuickSilver machine, but it has some really weird CPU card that is Sonnet 800MHz SG4R-800-2-B02. Sonnet website does not show up this very model, i googled for it and found only several japanese websites about it... So anyone, any info on this, probably how to set multipliers and so... I would love to give it a try and run some higher speed (aka overclock ). Thanks!

Can you take a Pic. ? I can edit the Pic to show what Jumpers for your Sonnet board, as well, most of us here can ( Love mac junkies ), The multiplier is the same ( Should be ) just like the rest, my old sonnet was like my old QS as for as overclocking.
Well, there are no jumpers at all as i could see. I also wonder, is there a way to monitor the temp of the CPU on this card? I have bought Hardware Monitor app and asked developer about it, but he said there are no sensors to monitor on this old machine... Perhaps, Sonnet has some software, like CPU Director or something? I'm running 10.4.11 on this QuickSilver. Thanks!

Could I get a shot of the Back of It? Though my sonnet was able to be overclock, I've had long since gotten rid of that G4 When I say jumpers, not your average jumpers, the typical G4 CPU jumps on the Back side of the BCP board. Though I thought all sonnets where able to be overclocked because of my old one, but I'm guessing this is not the case?
Sure, i'm gonna post the back later today when i get back home from work. And if you meant zero ohm resistors as a jumpers, then they should be there i suppose... The most weird thing about this card is Google does know almost nothing about it...
Your CPU looks just like mine, but mine is a 1.4 GHz. I know Sonnet doesn't allow their higher end CPU's to be overclocked and almost everyone i know has tried to do research on these cards and have come up with nothing. I'm not saying that it can't be clocked, but for what i know right now, Sonnet locks them at a certain speed.
Any further development on this unit? I have the Sonnet 1.2ghz and it has a 7455B (so it should overclock like crazy). The layout is very similair. There are spots for jumper in the same areas on the majority of the board. The only major difference I am seeing is the block of 3x3 right next to the CPU. I might be totally off, but yours is set to 10.5x and I am set to 9. Also the next block to the right, closer to the Xilink chip is slightly differently set. I am going to match your jumper config and see what mine says.. if it even boots.
