Well, i found your board. I'm surprised also it hasn't gone past the AMD stage.

Guys I just bought Intel Xeon 5420 cpu for my next 8-core Hack pro mod. I will be buying other processor when after buying the board. So can someone point me in the right direction, which board do you think I should buy? I was thinking of getting the Z7S WS, what do you think about that? Intel board or Asus board?

I really like the look of the Asus Z7S WS motherboard. I think with the position of the CPU's it would be a good combination for the Mac Pro case too, especially if used with the original Mac Pro front fan cage. This should blow on the CPU's directly when combined with some decent heat sinks. The CPU's should end up slightly further towards the rear of the case with this board than with the Mac Pro board so you should be able to do something interesting with the heat sinks too. The only thing that held me back from using that board was the cost of 2 CPU's.
