Hello All: Have checked out this group for years, but this is the first time getting on here because I'm trolling for any help from other retro-Tiger/Leopard/PPC Mac Developers. I made and have been maintaining PPC Media Center: macintoshgarden.org/apps/ppc-media-center-watch-modern-internet-video-ppc-macs-running-104105 and my app, as well as a number of others are approaching doomsday with everything switching to advanced TLS 1.2. Had to make a stop-gap updater to the youtube-dl framework (available at the above link) so that it will continue working. Other apps are due to be effected on these older systems too like PianoPPC and even the mighty TenFourFox will start having problems when network-time falls victim. Anyway, am working with sevan.mit.edu to make a work-around. Will install OpenSSL 1.0.2 and a compatible version of Python so PPCMC will be patched, but am also, preemptively updating NTP as well. Wish us luck! Anyone with any ideas or with another app that might bennefit from jacking into the patch, please feel free to email me. avalbrec ( @) gmail ( .) com or chime-in here: macintoshgarden.org/forum/call-arms-any-tigerleopard-devs-here-lets-fix-openssl-in-tigerP.S. Just as an intro to me, here are some pics from my modded G4 showing the Specs and quirky setup Attachments:

Sadly I don't have any pics, but can say it looks very 'Vanilla' from the outside. Just everything is in MINT condition (MDD, 2 Apple Studio Monitors, Apple Pro 'ball' Speakers, Soundsticks II and Raid). Isn't till you look at the back and inside that you realize "We are nowhere in the vicinity of Kansas anymore"! It is very fast. Got an AJA read/write score of 95/92 MB/S (my buddy's Quad G5 with an SSD does 127/129). Runs Adobe CS 4 like a boss and Final Cut Express GREAT. The only concession has been loosing CoreImage - So can't run Final Cut Studio II (because of the Geforce TI Card), but I love OS9 gaming WAY too much to give it up.

my mdd is a dual 1.25 running all the os9 software i can get my hands on. as for the video, i think it’s an ati card of some nature hooked up to a 22” adc. not too bad for game playing and running some old tv shows from the 90’s
