I've been battling video issues with this install, and I'm giving up because my head is spinning and I have lost focus. I need help. I'm running a Asus N80Vb with a Core 2 Duo 2Ghz and 4GB of RAM. It has the NVidia Geforce 9300M GS 512MB video chipset. I used IATKOS S3 v2 to install OS 10.6.3. I used Natit for the video card. I get standard 1280x800 resolution, but most things that require the video chipset for processing just don't work (Flash Player, WoW, etc). I'm pretty sure that my issue is with QE/CI not being turned on, but it could be more than that. I'm not even sure that everything is running in 64bit mode. I've gone round and round trying to get things working right, using tips from here, InsanelyMac, and other sites, but tonight the fix has eluded me. I will gladly post any information one might need to steer me in the right direction if someone is willing to help me out. Oh, I'm in Iraq, so the slow internet has been one of my hang-ups. I am returning soon, and when I do, I would like to be able to update to 10.6.8 (I do have the 10.6.7 Combo Update downloaded already) and retain all the functionality gained from whatever I'm offered here. I've downloaded lots of stuff that I can use to fix this issue, including NVCAP Maker (along with the ROM for this chipset), OSx86 tools, Legacy Kernel 10.6.8 and more.
Thanks in advance, Jake

The internet gods shined on my connection last night and allowed me to finish downloading 10.6.8 Combo Update. I installed it, along with the 10.6.8 Legacy Kernel and reinstalled IOSUBFamily.kext and IOUSBMassStorageCLass.kext. I tried running Enabler_for_Nvidia_and_multiple_ATI_cards.pkg that I found somewhere, but it didn't help. Video players still crash, Flash crashes browsers & I can't play any graphic intensive games. System Profiler shows this for my Graphics/Displays: nVidia Graphics Card: Chipset Model: nVidia Graphics Card Type: GPU Bus: PCIe PCIe Lane Width: x16 VRAM (Total): 128 MB Vendor: NVIDIA (0x10de) Device ID: 0x06e9 Revision ID: 0x00a1 ROM Revision: Silent Natit x86_64 v1.0.2 Displays: Display Connector: Status: No Display Connected Display: Resolution: 1280 x 800 Pixel Depth: 32-Bit Color (ARGB8888) Main Display: Yes Mirror: Off Online: Yes I read through this thread on the 9300M G and just can't quite figure out exactly what to do. does anyone have any advice for me? Thanks Jake
