for us novices out here... i don't suppose you wanna give us a walk-though? Sure, I can make a simple guide with d/l links etc

no walk-through, just one step ;-) (or two) Buy a Quadro FX4500 - put it in to PC >> NVflash --index=(depends on slot where the card is (nvflash -ai)) -4 -5 -6 quadro.rom Ready to go! Nothing compares with a 7800GTX 512! There you need to know quite a bit more :-) I bet the 7800GTX is a bit faster (15-20%) hope to get one soon but right now my PM G5 is under surgery since one of the CPU's is 20-30C hotter because of a clogged cooling system

I just have had repaired a quad :-) The cooling system is quite ugly to mess with. I found this cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230578004682&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:ITI guess you have got some bubbles caused by vaporized cooling liquid. Take innovatek Protect PRO mix it with distilled water and do a complete exchange. (the engine (delphi dual pump system) is fuled by Pin1/2 +12V Pin 5/6 black Pin7/8 GND Use a 3 amp power supply to run the pumps properly) Prevent running the cooling without liquid, the pumps are sensible. (lubricated by cooling liquid) In case of emergency i hold a MCP350 and a 2,5GHz CPU taken from a Quad. good luck

If you want to make it "factory side" do exchange filling on one of the two filler necks sealed by rubber caps filled with glue. Remove glue cut off the crimped edge and suck off the old filling. Actually it is worth doing a vacuum exchange. First you will detect a defective LCS by prompt pressure drop second you may adjust the LCS on low pressure. (to prevent over-pressure ) Just buy a huge equine-syringe and some of silicon inlet hose (with equivalent (big) diameter) Clean up the System by distilled water. Therefore intersec the system on intake for instance and rinse LCS. (Never let the pump run dry!) Do a connection, medevac the system, on short hose you may make a interrupt by a strong clamp, than refill the LCS. Make sure that you could power up the pump - you shall have got 220 ml of Liquid at least and a pincer pliers to re-seal the alu-tube. Fill the short end of the hose and fill the syringe with liquid than open the clamp - make sure to prevent air intakes. Do that until the syringe won't emty out "automaticly". Reject some of liquid back into the syringe to make a little under-pressure. BTW i used to make sealing by hot glue. The easy way might be to intersec the system on intake or outlet, fill it there and reconnect "fast as possible"
