This method worked fabulously, where all others failed. Thanks for the template and clear instructions to follow!! My system was a Gateway P7803h w/Nvidia 9800 GTS 1GB.

Noticed though that QE is not working. I did use SL 10.6.6 to create the output file but thought it would work fine as the original post states it's working in 10.6.4 onwards... might have broken again in 10.6.6?

Hi AquaMAC, I'm currently using snow leopard 10.6.7 using TonyMac's method. My graphics card is Nvidia 9300M GS from Fujitsu E8420. The vram is 256MB. How can I start using your method?

Hi Aquamac,

could you edit the list of the GFX Strings on the first page, and include the one's for the BFG 8800 gtx flashed into Quadro FX 5600 please...?

Hi Aquamac,

I've still the same configuration (dual card 8800gt 512 mb and 8400 gs 512 mb.)

I've installed lion and trying to use 3 monitors. I can use 2 (8800gt, with graphic enabler yes and string). How to enable the second one? With DSDT edit? string?

Hi. I install iATKOS S3 V2. Everything works perfect, except fan control on my video asus nvidia 8800gt 512mb. I read your guide on the first page. But link for my 8800gt is broken. Files missing. Can you explain me, how I can use\fix fan control on my nvidia 8800gt 512 mb? My config is:
