And if you see me kicking around, I might just be able to give you some watercooling pointers. There's http://roobarb.dfpx.co.uk/, which should help to get you started, but if you've got questions, post away!

Hi Maestro,
Glad to have you with us!
The popularity of macs is definitely growing with a lot more interest from the PC crowd. They even sell macs at the local PC World, mind you no one who works there has the first clue what they can do, I have even overheard staff trying to switch interested customers over to PC's as they are "easier to use" (that will be the day) or "macs are only good for video editing".
The truth is, that even if all you ever did was go online or check a few emails, your experience would certainly be enriched if you were using a mac, even if it was just to avoid viruses every other day!
It will be interesting to see where all this leads, with the introduction of Mactel computers, but in the meantime there are an load of people with G3's, G4's & early G5's who are interested in making them go faster.
Fascinating site. Particularly the beautiful front end of auqua-mac.com ... absolutely lovely web design.
And I might add a Thank You for losing a perfectly good night's sleep, as I navigated here quite by accident at about 11:30 p.m. last night, and did not tear myself away until nearly 4 am this morning. No matter, truth be told, I often go without sleep, and it was entirely worth it.
I really admire the stuff you folks are doing ... your fabrications are truly beautiful aquamac, (but the background knowledge curve seems quite steep). I'm wondering if your background is in electrical engineering? With a degree in IT?
Me I am just a piker, a humble soul who has come to computing quite late in life {actually pretty resistant to emerging technologies [philosophically speaking]} ... but I am bright enough to appreciate true excellence when I see it and fortunately had the foresight to start on a Mac in 2003.
So far I have collected 4 Macs ... very lofi and primitive computing compared to the cutting edge sort of things you folks are doing here, so I will probably mostly lurk and glean what knowledge I might understand, and perhaps pick up some tips on how I might best utilize my little arsenal of Macs.
Anyways ... Well Done Gentlemen !!!
And my Very Best Regards to All.

Ohm51,
Must have missed your post somehow, thank you for your very kind words. Don't have a background in electrical engineering, it is in design, but I do have great interest in electrical engineering! Sorry to stop you from sleeping!!
