Ok I have a situation... I have a Sawtooth with a rev 3 Uni-North motherboard. I've been told and did some research that I can't use a dual processor board on this machine... Does that mean the machine won't function at all with the dual processor card or does that mean one of the processor is diable... but the machine will still work fine just without the other processor? Has anyone tried to use a dual proc board one a rev 3 uni-north g4 motherboard? I am curious to see what happen... Thanks!

Of what i have read, the Uni-N 3 machines will not boot with a dual processor in it. Something to do with the dual cpu configuration i would imagine. You could try to use a dual processor and try turning on the machine. If you get more thane one tone expressing that something is wrong and no Apple logo, then you know to put the single back in. I lucked out when i got my Sawtooth. Right out of the box, it's a Uni-N 7 Rev 2. board with a 237W PS.
Best bet is trial and error. But please don't blame me if your machine starts on fire...
